Your role
As a (Junior) Relationship Manager at Darwind, you will work under the responsibility of the Managing Director and your colleague Business Managers, closely collaborating to achieve the company’s business objectives. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence, managing client relationships, and ensuring our consultants are matched with the best opportunities. This position offers a unique blend of business development, people management, and internal project oversight, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Our expertise mainly lies in Data Engineering and Analysis, Solution Design and Analysis, Architecture, and Project Management. Therefore, we seek someone with an affinity or interest in these areas.
Business Development
- Identify, research, and meet new prospects and trends
- Expand the company’s client portfolio and manage existing accounts.
- Develop long-term business relationships based on trust.
- Negotiate with both new and current clients.
- Organize client meetings to explore business opportunities and build relationships.
- Create and maintain a network of clients and business partners, focusing on long-term relationships.
- Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision-makers.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to expand Darwind’s network and identify new business opportunities.
People Management
- Prepare consultants for client interviews
- Follow up on consultant missions with clients.
- Perform evaluations of consultants.
- Actively seek and identify suitable projects for consultants, matching their skills, development areas and interests.
Internal Projects
- Participate to internal projects and initiatives (such as: projects & events, trainings, internal efficiency, personal initiatives..)
Skills and personality
- You are eager to learn and look forward to be trained as a Business Developer
- You are naturally proactive and dynamic
- You have excellent (verbal & written) communication skills and able to connect with very different people
- You are curious and up to date with current trends/general knowledge
- You have an ability to negotiate
- Autonomy and ability to work autonomously as well as in team
- You have excellent knowledge of Dutch, French and English (prospecting and client visit in the 3 languages)
- Diploma : master
- 0-5 years experience would be ideal, not necessarily in sales
