What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the business development effort to drive our growth across the Benelux region, finding new leads and business opportunities
  • Adapting and localizing global business development strategies to suit the regional market
  • Qualifying and analyzing leads, ensuring briefs are aligned with the company's objectives before passing them to the relevant teams
  • Promote the image and advertise egg’s expertise to new prospects to identify their needs
  • Analyze market developments and keep a close eye competitors' offers to help us stay relevant in the local market
  • Work with internal departments to optimize customer experience and quality of service

Must haves

(We really mean it. Candidates who do not meet the following criteria will not be considered.)

  • 7+ years experience in in a commercial role in events, hospitality or in marketing/communications
  • Enthusiasm, with strong negotiation skills and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
  • Proven ability to identify client needs and opportunities for growth
  • Available to travel as needed
  • Self-motivated and autonomous, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams
  • Ability to quickly read customers and identify needs
  • Eligibility to work in country where job is posted
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a natural ability to connect with others
  • Fluency in spoken and written English & French (No scrambled oeufs at egg, svp.)
  • Eligibility to work in Belgium

Nice to haves

  • Fluency in Dutch is considered a big asset
  • Based in Brussels or within commuting distance
  • Event agency experience
