Qlik Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage data replication processes using Qlik Replicate and Qlik Data Integration (QDI) technology.
• Design, implement, and optimize data models, databases, and ETL processes for smooth data integration.
• Handle real-time data streaming from various sources, including Mainframes, Db2, SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, into cloud data warehouses or data lakes via Change Data Capture.
• Build data transformation logic and improve ETL processes with automation and performance tuning.
• Ensure data pipeline accuracy and reliability by monitoring and troubleshooting data flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, prioritizing tasks, and tracking progress using Jira.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by resolving data replication issues and ensuring successful outcomes.
• Work closely with data users, business analysts, DBAs, and stakeholders to understand data replication needs and design efficient solutions.
• Partner with development teams to convert business requirements into technical specifications for Qlik Replicate.
• Stay current with Qlik Replicate features, updates, and best practices to continuously improve processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in data engineering, integration, and analytics.
• Proven expertise in Qlik Replicate as a lead, with hands-on experience in Qlik Data Integration (QDI).
• Proficiency in working with a variety of relational (SQL, Db2, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-based data integration.
• Strong understanding of data integration, replication, and ETL concepts.
• Familiarity with data governance and security standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with both IT and business teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
• Fluent in English, with strong problem-solving skills.
