Job Title: Power BI Support Specialist

Service Description:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced PowerBI Support Specialist (H&S/Assets) service. The main responsibilities focus on the PowerBI backend, documentation, and providing support in the areas of Health & Safety and MAC. The specialist will be responsible for tracking and implementing bug fixes and new developments, and preparing Health & Safety dashboards for industrialization.

Responsibilities:

PowerBI Development and Optimization:

• Design, develop, and maintain PowerBI dashboards, ensuring they meet business needs and are user-friendly.
• Optimize data models and workflows for better efficiency and performance.

Documentation:

• Create and update comprehensive technical documentation for PowerBI solutions.
• Document best practices and procedural guides for internal teams.

Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide technical support and advice regarding MAC (Management Aided by Computer) and Health & Safety applications.
• Proactively follow up and resolve incidents and service requests.

Bug Fixes and New Developments:

• Identify, track, and resolve bugs in Health & Safety dashboards.
• Implement new developments and functionalities in existing Health & Safety dashboards.

Industrial Preparation:

• Prepare Health & Safety dashboards for industrialization, ensuring they are flexible and adaptable to different source systems.
• Collaborate with team members to develop structural solutions ready for large-scale implementation.
• Evaluate the solution to be used for industrialization, ensuring it meets flexibility, scalability, and adaptability requirements for diverse operational needs.

Collaboration, Communication and Requirement Gathering:

• Work closely with other IT and business teams to ensure PowerBI solutions align with business objectives and needs.
• Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Regularly review existing dashboards, considering automation and update of KPI’s (Assets: for AssetsTeam, Team Cockpit ; or Health & Safety reports).

Process Improvements:

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes using Power BI and Power Apps.
• Suggest and implement changes that enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Backup PowerBI Support (H&S / Assets)

Collaborate closely with the counterpart Power BI developer to provide backup support for Power BI operations related to MAC or H&S, ensuring seamless alignment and service continuity when needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Information, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with PowerBI, including backend (database and semantic models).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Health & Safety dashboards and MAC is highly desired.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
• Proficiency in documentation and maintaining technical documentation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
