Business Intelligence Developer

Job Overview:

I am currently partnered with a banking client in Brussels who are looking to hire an experienced Business intelligence Developer to join their team in February on an interim basis. The client in question is currently moving away from legacy systems and is now creating a suite of reports and dashboards off the back of their new & refined KPI's.

Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer - Banking Sector

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)

Experience: 5+ Years

Contract Length: 12 Months

A successful candidate will require:

• 5+ years of BI experience, preferably in the banking or financial sector.
• Expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
• Expert SQL and ETL skills; experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, SQL Server).
• Strong Experience with NIM, ROE & CAR
• Experience with banking data structures and regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel, AML).
• Fluency in English, French or Dutch is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop dashboards and reports tailored to banking operations, risk, and compliance.
• Design and manage ETL processes to integrate financial and operational data.
• Collaborate with teams to identify key metrics and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, system performance, and compliance with industry standards.
