The Business Performance & Insights Manager will play a critical role in driving the interconnectivity of data sources & types, to support data-driven decisions. The Manager- BP&I will leverage harmonised KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance across internal and external data points, allowing Sandoz to unlock the full potential and growth in market. They will also be responsible for data procurement and monitoring and delivering market-specific commercial insights to local leadership teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Market Understanding & SFE Business Partner

  • Act as the key business partner for one of the business units, by understanding, challenging, supporting & driving short- and long-term performance. The person will do so by:
    • Executing and sharing regular market, competition & customer analyses (general & deep dives), to capture business opportunities
    • Identify opportunities for optimized resource allocation and support re-alignment (segmentation & targeting, territory redesign, customer engagement planning, etc.)
    • Ensuring optimal performance of resources by both designing SFE strategy for its unit & executing on it, e.g., SFE KPI follow-up, target setting & incentive cycles
    • Support in the preparation of financial forecasts, target preparation and strategic planning in general
  • Partake in regular business review meetings with business unit(s) to challenge / frame performance and identify actions to improve our results
  • Support the implementation of digital tools to improve market, competitive & customer intelligence, as well as sales & marketing activities
  • Scout for data and new sources and identify potential partners for future collaborations
  • Collaborate closely with and give feedback to the SFE & Market Insights Manager who will be responsible to the overall SFE framework, data source and intelligence ecosystem
Customer Experience

  • Drive Sandoz Belgium’s omnichannel / digital agenda as the overall project manager and owner the steerco. Primary responsibilities include: challenging of vision & plan, ensuring progress, project management, as well as communication & change management
  • As a complement to our omnichannel journey, the BP&I Manager will boost customer experience by driving the customer journey concept in collaboration with sales, marketing, and the SFE & Market Insights Manager
  • Execute on identified opportunities for improvement with relevant stakeholders

Project Management, Planning, Monitoring And Reporting

  • Support Sandoz Belgium priorities & growth:
    • Propose, investigate, & implement growth opportunities (incl. business cases preparation)
    • Lead & monitor key projects (strategic & operational) in line with company priorities
    • Be a sparring partner to commercial and senior management
  • Support Business Operations Head with:
    • Regular above-country reporting and ad-hoc request (e.g. business reviews preparation)
    • General company financial forecasts, target preparation and strategic planning (to complement business unit-specific responsibilities)
  • Gather, share and leverage best practices within the organization by connecting with Cluster/ Regional Commercial Excellence teams
    • Facilitate workshops and ad-hoc support of the management team
Essential Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • University degree (bachelor/master) – preferably in business administration, economics or applied sciences
  • 2-5 years of industry experience (preferably with 1-3 years of consulting experience)
  • Fluent in English (strong knowledge of Dutch and French)
  • Strong strategic and commercial mindset,
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proven skills in managing cross-functional projects
  • Creative, fast, flexible and positive attitude
  • Pragmatic approach in managing projects
  • Engaged, curious and ambitious
  • High level of self-awareness, open for feedback and willingness to learn
  • Result driven, good team player with an open communication style
