Comptable junior

I am currently seeking a Junior Accountant for one of my clients based in Brussels. This position offers a mix of accounting and controlling responsibilities, hybrid work options, and a flexible schedule.

Job Description

As an Accountant, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise by combining traditional accounting tasks with financial controlling activities. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records while supporting strategic financial planning.

Main Responsibilities

• Handle general accounting tasks, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Assist in the preparation of tax declarations and financial statements.
• Support the controlling team with budget monitoring, cost analysis, and financial planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Your Profile

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting. Knowledge of controlling is a strong plus.
• Languages: Proficiency in French and Dutch is mandatory.
