I am currently seeking a Junior Accountant for one of my clients based in Brussels. This position offers a mix of accounting and controlling responsibilities, hybrid work options, and a flexible schedule.
Job Description
As an Accountant, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise by combining traditional accounting tasks with financial controlling activities. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records while supporting strategic financial planning.
Main Responsibilities
Handle general accounting tasks, including ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Assist in the preparation of tax declarations and financial statements.
Support the controlling team with budget monitoring, cost analysis, and financial planning.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Your Profile
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting. Knowledge of controlling is a strong plus.
Languages: Proficiency in French and Dutch is mandatory.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Familiarity with accounting tools and financial systems.
