Job Description:
We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a dynamic team responsible for processing and validating key financial data. The role involves performing backtesting on credit files and recalculating critical financial metrics, such as the Leverage Ratio of main borrowers, as part of an important regulatory compliance process.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and process detailed financial data provided by Relationship Managers through a specialized calculation tool.
Analyze the results of calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Validate financial ratios, such as the Leverage Ratio, based on input data.
Collaborate with internal teams to support reporting and ensure data quality.
Provide insights and feedback on the quality of credit file assessments.
Profile Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years in financial analysis, controlling, or a similar role.
Skills:
Strong understanding of financial data, ratios, and credit-related metrics.
Proficiency with tools and software for financial calculations and data processing.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail for reviewing nominal data inputs and results.
Languages:
Fluency in Dutch is mandatory.
Good working knowledge of English is a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a proactive approach to regulatory-driven processes.
