Your Profile

• Proactive : Enthusiastic about tackling challenges and helping others succeed.
• Interest in Regulations: Credit risk regulations, data analysis, and monitoring.
• Certified: Green belt certified or willing to become certified.
• Educational Background: Master’s degree in economics, finance, banking, or related fields.
• Experience: Previous experience in Retail, Business, or Wholesale banking is preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of credit risk management, lending activities, and industry regulations.
• Work Style: Able to work autonomously and collaboratively, especially in an agile environment.
• Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch OR French, and English, both written and spoken.
• Communication: Ability to manage senior stakeholders and explain complex concepts simply.
• Organizational Skills: Proficient in writing, editing, and organizational tasks.
• Continuous Learner: Eager to learn and grow within the credit risk environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Policy Development: Create data-driven credit risk policies and procedures to ensure operations stay within the defined credit risk appetite.
• Regulatory Alignment: Ensure local policies comply with Group standards and European or local regulations.
• Risk Evaluation: Assess the risk impact of major decisions on credit products and processes, offering expertise in Credit Risk Policy for various projects.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of policy changes, balancing business development ambitions while maintaining financial safety.
