Main tasks and responsibilities
At Nippon Express Belgium, our Customer Service Representatives are the heartbeat of our operations. As a key player in the logistics process, you will help ensure smooth and timely coordination of import shipments via air, all while delivering exceptional service to our customers. Main tasks and responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: provide outstanding service via phone and email, assisting customers with their inquiries and addressing any concerns with a friendly, professional approach
- Communication: keep customers informed about delays, irregularities, and any changes to their shipments, ensuring transparency and trust
- Proactive Follow-up: ensure timely follow-up on all inquiries within 24 hours to keep operations running smoothly
- Data Management: maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information to provide the best possible service
- Problem Solving: resolve customer issues and proactively seek solutions to ensure a seamless shipping experience
- Collaboration: work closely with internal teams to resolve supply chain issues quickly and effectively, promoting strong teamwork across departments
- Administrative Support: perform various administrative tasks as needed to support the team leader and ensure smooth operations
- Multitasking Skills: you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Tech-Savvy: proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new tools
- Customer-Focused: excellent communication skills and a strong customer service mindset
- Attention to Detail: you understand that accuracy is key, and you never miss the finer points
- Self-Starter: ability to work under pressure, take initiative, and manage your priorities
- Team Player: you value teamwork and work collaboratively with your colleagues
- Language Skills: proficient in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and customs
- Full-time contract, undetermined time
