We are seeking a dynamic and experienced EMEA Head of E-Commerce to lead our digital transformation, drive online sales, and position our brand as a leading lifestyle brand in the region.


Role Overview

The EMEA Head of E-Commerce will spearhead our e-commerce operations and strategy, overseeing our own webshop and marketplace presence across the region. This individual will develop and execute a robust, data-driven e-commerce strategy, ensuring alignment with brand goals and regional growth targets.

The ideal candidate will combine strategic vision with operational excellence, leveraging digital marketing, technology, and customer insights to deliver a seamless online shopping experience and achieve aggressive sales targets.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy for the EMEA region, aligned with our lifestyle brand's business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for growth across direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels, marketplaces, and digital partnerships.
  • Set and achieve ambitious revenue and profitability targets.


Webshop & Marketplace Management

  • Oversee the optimization and performance of Hedgren's own webshop, ensuring best-in-class UX/UI, speed, and conversion rates.
  • Manage marketplace presence on platforms like Amazon, Zalando, and regional-specific marketplaces, ensuring alignment with brand standards.


Digital Marketing Integration

  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to drive traffic, improve conversion rates, and increase customer retention.
  • Leverage tools like paid media, SEO, email marketing, and affiliate partnerships to achieve sales and engagement KPIs.


Operational Excellence

  • Ensure seamless backend operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service integration.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize delivery and returns processes.


Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing e-commerce team, to build from scratch and over time upon business growth.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and retail, to ensure a consistent brand presence.


Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to refine strategy and execution.
  • Provide regular performance reports to the senior leadership team, highlighting opportunities for growth and improvement.


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a strong plus.


Experience

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing regional or global E-commerce operations.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building successful e-commerce strategies for lifestyle brands or comparable consumer goods sectors (e.g., fashion, travel accessories, luggage).
  • Experience with DTC models, marketplace management, and digital marketing integration.


Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or similar), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar), and CRM systems.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a customer-first mentality.
  • Passion for lifestyle brands and a strong sense of market trends.
