For our Finance Business team, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner who works for the region and perimeter of Belgium and the Netherlands (BeNe), based in Uccle, Belgium.

Daily tasks:

  • Deliver Analytics: Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Insight & Forecasting: Ensure accurate forecasting and insights for Group Equity Story.
  • Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with various business units based on trust and competence.
  • Profitability Tracking: Challenge decisions to ensure consistency with overall profitability.
  • Standard Processes: Implement automated processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Leadership Development: Foster a collaborative culture and develop future-ready Finance leaders.

Key responsibilities:

  • P&L Management: Oversee full P&L performance, including forecasting and performance monitoring.
  • KPI Monitoring: Track operational KPIs and monthly performance against targets.
  • Performance Bonus Oversight: Validate and challenge performance bonus payments and accruals.
  • Transfer Pricing: Lead transfer pricing processes with support from relevant teams.
  • Stakeholder Support: Act as a financial guide for operational stakeholders, providing timely analysis.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular performance reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Assumption Challenges: Question business assumptions and decisions for better outcomes.
  • Closing Coordination: Collaborate with accounting and finance teams for monthly and annual closings.

Your profile:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Finance or Economics.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in a controlling or finance role.
  • Process Orientation: Proven ability to adhere to processes and meet tight deadlines.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to analyze a client’s needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to influence others and build strong networks up to the VP level.
  • Personality: Proactive, open-minded, and passionate about working in international teams.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a valuable asset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and SAP, with strong computer skills.
  • Influence and Communication: Exceptional influencing and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Teamwork: A true team player who can also work independently.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Flexible with a positive attitude.
  • Location Preference: Ideally based close to the assigned region (Uccle, Brussels).
