To join our Finance team operating out of Belgium, we are currently recruiting a motivated Finance Director. The Finance Director will support leaders of the business with their expertise and guidance.

Responsibilities

• You manage month end closing and prepare monthly management accounts for the business.
• You prepare monthly financial forecasts with the Managing Director Upstream and key business leaders for consolidation at EMEA level.
• You coordinate and lead the budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with business growth strategies, objectives and targets.
• You implement business reporting within the business based on the EMEA reporting strategy
• Financial and operational KPI reporting
• Flash reports
• Wash reports
• Sales analysis
• You monitor and manage cash flow and working capital, optimize liquidity and ensure compliance with funding arrangements.
• You complete cash flow forecasts and ensure DSO managed.
• You support the Managing Director Upstream and leaders of the business with financial support and guidance.
• You coach and supervise the finance team, taking care of training and performance evaluation.
• You establish and maintain effective internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with tax, legal and regulatory requirements.
• You are responsible for VAT and tax computations and compliance.
• You prepare statutory accounts and manage audit process with external auditors.

Education

• You have a professional degree in Accountancy-Tax or equivalent.
• You have thorough knowledge of Belgian GAAP, tax and local financial reporting standards.

Skills

• You have proficient working knowledge of the MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
• You have a strong analytical mind and excellent decision making- and problem solving skills.
• You are able to interpret complex financial data and communicate effectively to various audiences.
• You are detail-oriented, organized and deadline driven.
• You have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• You are an excellent communicator and an enthusiastic team player who brings a positive attitude to the entire group.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch.

Experience

• Proven track record in a similar position.
