A job at Proximus? You’ll find that everything revolves around the idea ‘Think Possible’. This means: we always assume that something is possible, even if it seems impossible. Well, especially so, actually. Call it a way of thinking that involves being open to a world of digital solutions that make our lives easier. And our way of working smarter.

Your mission:

In this exciting role, you will be the Business Partner of the Chief Digital & IT Officer, Antonietta MASTROIANNI, and you will support her team and the various transformation programs. You will coordinate and orchestrate the activities of FIN BP around the IT & Digital scope, with a clear responsibility for the BU to help the organization achieve the ambitious TCO reduction expected by 2025, while constantly striving to make the best trade-offs in the development capex roadmap to maximize the Group’s value. You will play a key transversal role, through IT, in the digitalization of the entire company.

Your responsibilities:

Several essential tasks fall within this function:

Being the recognized business partner:

  • You will set up the control framework for IT activities, including the monthly closing and associated reporting.
  • You will be responsible for financial planning activities, forecasting (including the MBR – monthly budget review, the rolling forecast, the budget, the long-term plan) for the “IT and Digital” unit, covering operating expenses, investments (given the strong link between these two cost elements, especially in the IT field) and direct margin.
  • You will initiate the integration of efficiency gains generated by IT in the various BUs in a transversal manner.
  • You will support the Proximus Ada subsidiary with financial questions.

You will promote the best investments for the future:

  • You will play a central role in strategic priority (SP) 2 (IT and Data transformation) by being the FIN point of contact for this SP.
  • You will prepare financial opinions for the executive committee, the board of directors, the main investments in this SP, and all major capex release requests of this SP.
  • You will develop a strong link with the QBR (quarterly business review) and closely participate in the global process of prioritizing development investments (nearly 150 million euros per year).
  • You are a key player in reporting, analysis, and governance for development investments.
  • You will be responsible for managing the performance of the investments made and promoting the spirit of benefit management related to investments.

You will lead a team of 3 people responsible for business partnering and project management of DTI.

At the head of this team, your mission will be to bring out the best in the team members to carry out all activities on time and at the appropriate quality level. Although many of these activities are recurring, you will need to be flexible to cope with changing contexts that affect them or to respond to urgent requests from management. Presentations to the Exco can be made as a substitute or on very specific topics.

In short, this position combines the responsibility for complete subjects, business partner activities, project management skills, and team management skills and gives you a helicopter view of Proximus’ development needs, strategic challenges, and prospects.
