Finance Manager

Your responsibilities as a Finance Manager:

• Lead performance improvements through cultural transformation and team development
• Use engagement-driven leadership to drive results and foster collaboration across group finance and country leadership
• Take ownership of financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes, ensuring timely, precise, and relevant insights:
• Oversee monthly reporting and closing, offering insights into budget and forecast variances
• Prepare and present the annual budget, manage monthly forecasts, and track volume reporting and key performance indicators
• Provide value-added analyses, including Price x Quantity evaluations, and lead performance-related projects with the management team
• Interpret financial and operational results, translating findings into clear, actionable steps for improved business performance
• Develop an understanding of the cost drivers and support cost management strategies
• Aid in creating and monitoring financial and operational KPIs, supplementing with management reports
• Recommend proactive process improvements to the CFO/FD and Managing Director
• Contribute to reporting system updates and ensure compliance with Belgian tax regulations
• Ensure strong financial controls that are in place across operations

About you:

• You possess proven experience in developing and leading high-performance teams
• You are adept at driving performance through process improvements, analytics, and transformation in a dynamic environment
• You bring expertise in financial systems, business insights, and control
• You hold a BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, Controlling, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience, including 5+ years in Finance Manager roles with progressive responsibility
• You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English
• You have strong leadership skills and can adopt a hands-on approach when needed
• You excel at managing change and integration, are collaborative, and skilled at multitasking under pressure
• You bring strong analytical skills and are proficient in technology platforms, such as ERP (MS Dynamics), BI (Power BI), and Microsoft Office
• You have a proven track record in business management, along with outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities
