We’re currently looking for a:
Finance Operations & Administration Manager
In this role you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and operational tasks ranging from accounting over HR & payroll administration to facility management and general administration.
The accounting team is responsible for a group of companies in Belgium and The Netherlands, some of which operate globally. This means that your task as Finance Operations Manager will include reporting on company and group level, as well as cross-border consolidation. We also have specific challenges such as financially structuring our supply chain, founding offices in new regions and global export formalities. This position requires a high degree of autonomy, yet also needs to be an excellent team player. You’ll work closely together with our accounting officer. You play an important supportive role in our tight knit organization, and will report directly to the CEO and founder.
For the HR & payroll administration you will work closely together with payroll services in Belgium and The Netherlands and our internal HR responsable. You’ll answer HR admin questions from the team, and roll out HR programs such as the yearly benefit plan, bonus programs etc. You’ll ensure our companies are in line with all legal HR obligations. You’ll run the monthly payroll and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of our employees. Fleet management is also your responsibility, handling a fleet of about 25 company cars.
Next to this, you’ll handle facility management for our different locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Staying on top of financial records to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed. You’ll be the backup of our accounting officer and assist in daily operations when needed.
- Processing of monthly balance sheets, income statements, yearly statuary accounts and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines (Belgium and Netherlands), including the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closing in alignment with the CEO
- Prepare monthly group consolidation focusing on eliminating inter-company transactions
- Cash flow planning
- Prepare financial reporting for subsidy projects
- Budget management and project reporting
- In coordination with the finance and purchase team follow up on invoices and act proactively towards suppliers. You’ll be responsible for a constructive relationship with our suppliers.
- Processing the monthly payroll and providing HR administration support to the HR team
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant domain
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Dutch and English
- Strong attention to detail, exceptionally strong with numbers and figures and analytical acumen
- Proficient understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices both in Belgium and The Netherlands, as well as social law and HR payroll principles
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and familiarity with relevant ERP Financial software, previous experience with Netsuite or Odoo is considered as a major added value
- Engaged team player, however able to work independently and flexible
- A service-driven and hands-on mindset: eager to deliver while adding a critical expert view
- Agile and with a curious nature, ready for the challenges of a young, growing organization in full and multifaceted expansion
