Finance, Risk and Compliance Consultant in Banking

Accenture Finance, Risk and Compliance (‘FRC’ part of Strategy & Consulting) team focus on activities to tackle issues of importance to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) in the Financial Services industry (FS), helping them to transform the finance, risk and compliance function and make it future proof:

You will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering high value solutions that help our clients move forward in every part of their Finance and Risk Function.

Drive and manage projects concerning implementation of new regulation or best-in class solution, contribute to audit findings remediation, and advise on organizational and technical organization.

Implement optimization/rationalization levers to meet regulatory requirements in the most efficient way.

You will contribute to both your project team and your client counterpart at leading clients in BeLux and abroad in the FS industry. You will build strong and long-term client relationships through constant monitoring of your client needs.

Provide subject matter expertise, industry perspectives and relevant point of views to drive client value.

Actively keep track of latest evolution of the FS industry’s challenges and opportunities.

Develop a strong network of Accenture clients, experts and colleagues.

Your profile

Master’s degree in Business economics, Business Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, …

2 to 5 years of experience within Financial Services industry in Banking Risk and/or Finance department, or Consulting company (assignments with a focus on banking related topics)

Knowledge of regulatory landscape such as IFRS 9, Basel III & IV, PSD2&3, FINREP/COREP, BEGAAP, ESG reporting (CSRD,…) and EBA/ECB guidelines

Strong knowledge in at least one of the following domains:

Risk Weighted Assets computations, Credit risk modelling (IRB) and financial reporting.

Risk and modelling framework (PD, LGD, VaR, T-VaR, Black & Scholes, Economical Scenario Generator, Stress testing framework).

Financial planning, Budgeting, ALM and treasury, Data analytics and related tooling for finance and risk processes.

Risk Management Framework (RMF), ICAAP, ILAAP, Risk Appetite Statements and Framework, RSCA/GRC tools

Demonstrate motivation to upskill in technology and innovative solutions relevant for the banking industry.

Knowledge of programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, SQL, ….

Demonstrate entrepreneurship mindset and appetence for ‘Business Development’.

Work in a client facing environment in delivering changes through executing activities such as requirements definition, gap analysis and working with clients to design and deliver solutions. Experience and understanding of project steps to deliver Target Operating Model, and core banking transformation.

Proven strong written and verbal communication skills (abilities related to storytelling, stakeholder management, …).

High competence in developing presentations (MS Office).

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of cloud’s technology such as Azure MS, Amazon AWS is an asset.

Effective communication in English, Dutch, and French.
