Job Description


  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and execute long-term commercial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
    • Set ambitious targets for key performance indicators, including Net Sales per Kilogram (NS/KG), net sales, gross profit, and market share.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Develop robust financial models and forecasts to support decision-making.
    • Monitor key financial metrics to ensure the business is on track to achieve its goals.
  • Pricing and Promotion Strategy:
    • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
    • Oversee the management of promotions and trade marketing activities.
    • Analyze the impact of pricing and promotional activities on sales and margins.
  • Product Portfolio Management:
    • Optimize the product portfolio to maximize revenue and profitability.
    • Identify opportunities for new product launches and product extensions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage cross-functional projects to drive growth and improve efficiency.

The Successful Applicant


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Experience in a commercial or finance role within a consumer goods or retail company
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and financial planning
