Front-End Developer

About the Role:

As a Front-end Developer—Software Engineer at Opteamal, you’ll play a key role in shaping the look, feel, and capabilities of our platform. You will develop custom dashboards and innovative visualizations tailored to the needs of professional coaches, design and implement new features to enhance overall user experience and collaborate with experts to turn requirements into shared successes.

Core Responsibilities:

• Front-end development of reports, dashboards and entire modules (Nuxt and Vue.js).
• Develop and maintain our back-end API-routes and query structure (GraphQL, SQL Alchemy, Fast API, Django).
• Nice to have: hands-on experience with Docker and K8s.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the best methodologies and technologies.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders at professional football clubs and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced technology environment.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in the IT domain.
• Must have experience in Front-end: Nuxt / Vue.js.
• Familiarity with Back-end implementations: Fast API / GraphQL / SQL Alchemy.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Python and JavaScript.
• Nice to have: Docker / K8s / Skaffold.
• Knowledge on API security (including OAuth, JWT, rate limiting and other security protocols and measures).
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and/or DigitalOcean.
• Strong affinity with sports and technology.
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Strong academic foundation in application development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with the capability to tackle challenges independently.
• Passion for continuous learning and the drive to become proficient in multiple IT domains.
