DG GROW B3 in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high quality corporate solutions/information systems for the Policy Units in GROW, but also to Member States, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies
Below are the details of your role and requirements.
Your role:
Development and maintenance of our IT systems
Definition of the proposed solutions for fixing or improving our IT systems
Documentation of the existing IT systems
Assistance with in identifying improvements to our IT systems
Coordination and review of the current IT systems
Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers
Support of users by answering their queries about existing IT systems

Requirements:
Who we think you are:
Minimum 2 years of experience in microservices architecture and design of information systems
Minimum 2 years of experience in Architecture as code with cdk
Minimum 3 years of experience in TypeScript with a focus on back-end development
Minimum 3 years of experience in NodeJS with a focus on back-end development
Minimum 5 years of experience in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL language
Minimum 2 years of experience in NoSQL databases
Minimum 3 years of experience with Amazon Web Services, and more specifically experience in: Lambda programming, Cognito, Athena Glue, Cloudfront , WAF, API Gateway, Route 53, Quicksight
Minimum 3 years of experience in developing secure web applications
Minimum 5 years of experience in Object Oriented design patterns
Minimum 3 years of experience with web services (REST and SOAP), with expertise in the design and development
Minimum 2 years in the development of graphical user interfaces
Minimum 2 years of experience with Angular2 framework or similar
Minimum 2 years of experience with JIRA and GIT
