Group Consolidation Manager (f/m/d)

This is an exciting opportunity to manage group consolidation for our international operations, oversee Belgium’s financial compliance, and contribute to the strategic direction of our accounting and finance function.

Job Mission:

As the Group Consolidation Manager, you will drive the consolidation process across the DOMO Chemicals Group, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standards. You will harmonize intercompany activities, monitor progress, and oversee the audit process of the consolidated report. As the Country Accounting Manager (CAM) for Belgium, you will provide holistic compliance for our Belgian entities, handling accounting, tax, and regulatory reporting.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the consolidated figures, annual and quarterly reports, in accordance with BEGAAP.
• Manage the complexity of 25 interconnected legal entities and 2-4 charts of accounts.
• Oversee consolidation tools, documentation, and compliance.
• Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices for accounting and group reporting.
• Take ownership of financial statements, tax compliance, and financial processes for Belgium entities.
• Organize monthly and annual statutory closing processes in line with the corporate calendar.
• Prepare statutory reporting, tax documentation, and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Income Tax, etc.) and work closely with the accounting hub in Poland.
• Act as the accounting point of contact for all departments within Belgium.
• Assist in monitoring of safe harbours, assist in providing data points for data input catalogue

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree in Economics (e.g., Commercial Engineering, Accountancy) or a related field. Certified Accountant.
• At least 5 years of overall finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in audit or group controlling, focusing on accounting, tax, and compliance in an international environment.
• Previous experience with one of the Big 4 (audit or related) is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial consolidation processes and tools, particularly BEGAAP.
• Knowledge of SAP, IFRS, and relevant financial regulations is an advantage.
