Group Financial Controller (F/M) - BE867299

Our client, a leading player in the Consultancy sector based in Brussels, is actively seeking a Group Financial Controller to join their team.

The position is part of the Group Controlling Team in Brussels, where the primary goal is to provide top-quality information to various stakeholders, ensuring they can perform their tasks effectively. This role sits at the intersection of local controlling teams and Group Top Management.

Reporting to the Group Finance Leader, the responsibilities for this role include:

• Reviewing and analyzing local financial reports.
• Preparing and analyzing consolidated Group financial reports.
• Implementing monthly operational data analysis based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of monthly reporting for all Group entities.
• Reviewing monthly local and analytical financial statements for the Group, with a focus on variance analysis against budget and projections (reforecast).
• Participating in the budgeting process and consolidation for the Group.
• Assisting in the preparation of the Group's consolidated financial statements.
• Consolidating and validating information reported at the Group level from various tools and communication channels.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of the Group’s ERP system from a financial perspective.
• Enhancing the structure and quality of monthly reporting in line with the evolution of the Group’s information systems.
• Defining and implementing financial processes.
• Assisting and supporting local teams in using Group tools effectively.
• Providing ad hoc analyses and responding to requests for information from the Group.

Your profile :

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Solution-oriented individual with a strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in the field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in controlling, auditing (preferably with a Big 4 firm), or corporate finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential; experience with PowerBI is a plus.
• Fluency in both French and English is required. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
