In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our business leaders to craft and implement strategies that align seamlessly with KONE's objectives. Specifically, you will oversee our business lines in Brussels, Wallonie and Luxembourg.
The role reports directly to the People & Communications Director for France, Belgium and Luxembourg. The role requires regular travel between our offices in Brussels, Machelen, Herstal, Gosselies & Luxembourg.

Responsibilities:
- Business partnering: Understand and translate business objectives into people and communications priorities. Advise and coach business leaders and actively contribute to manage team discussions.
- Strategy deployment: Drive the people and communications agenda aligning with KONE's strategic direction and fostering a great workplace culture.
- Employee Engagement: Lead the engagement agenda, manage engagement surveys, and support managers in enhancing employee engagement.
- Culture, Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity: Develop and execute initiatives to promote KONE's culture and advance diversity, inclusion, and equity.
- Collaborate with Communications CoE to ensure impactful internal and external communications.
- Workforce planning: Analyze and forecast workforce and labor cost development needs, develop approaches to meet them, and support related actions.
- Employment lifecycle consultation: Guide the business in employment and labou law matters and ensure compliance.
- Wellbeing: Advice on wellbeing strategies and drive improvement initiatives.
- Business partnering for annual HR processes: Collaborate with our HR centres of expertise to ensure smooth delivery of processes and focus on outcomes.
- Competence development: partner with learning and development colleagues to ensure employees have the skills to meet current and future business needs.
- Ensure the organization complies with all applicable regulations, laws and employment standards.
- Proven experience as a HR Business Partner in a multicultural and multinational business environment, ideally with a strong background in a blue collar environment. .
- Excellent influencing and communication skills
- Diverse experience in coaching and developing talent, teams, and business leaders
- Matrix working experience in a cross-border organization
- Industrial relations and workplace relations experience
- Knowledge of HR regulations and legislation
- Ability to support businesses in budgeting
- Flexibility to travel between our offices in Brussels, Machelen, Herstal, Gosselies & Luxembourg.
- Fluent in French, English and Dutch.
