For our partner in the Banking/Insurance sector:

We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen our the third line of defense internal audit team.We provide an independent and objective opinion on the internal control system and its effectiveness in achieving operational and strategic objectives. By adopting a methodical approach, we assess governance, risk management, and control processes, while proposing improvement recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute audit missions.
• Independently report the results of the missions.
• Contribute to the preparation of documents for Management and the Audit Committee.
• Evaluate governance, risk management, and control processes.
• Formulate recommendations to improve control environments.
• Provide assurance on the quality of processes.

Requirements:

• University degree (Master’s).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit.
• Experience in the banking/insurance sector is a plus.
• Team spirit, quality orientation, results, and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch or English is mandatory. French is a plus.
