IT Functional analyst

Nexeo is currently looking for a Functional Analyst to join a major client in Belgium.

Mission Context:

We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to help identify and map out business requirements, and design solutions to be integrated into the enterprise production environment. The Functional Analyst will focus on analyzing business problems and investigating costs and benefits.

Function Description:

Your responsibilities as a Functional Analyst will include:

During the Preparation Phase:

• Work with business analysts and clients to propose solutions that align with enterprise architecture and strategy, considering cost/benefit.
• Ensure the client understands and adopts enterprise rules and standards concerning architectural standards and security.
• Collaborate with architects to define and set up the architecture.
• Coordinate between the client, business analysts, and involved asset teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

During the Elaboration Phase:

• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Align with asset teams on the functional responsibilities they need to implement.
• Design the application solution, identifying impacts on various application components.
• Work with technical teams to specify requirements.

During the Construction Phase:

• Follow up on development and testing to ensure the solution aligns with functional specifications.
• Define the technical components supported by different teams (e.g., queues, security, integration layers).
• Support development, integration, and assembly testing (I&AT).
• Analyze defects during the testing phase and support release and deployment teams.

Post-Production:

• Provide ad hoc support to operational entities and helpdesks, and analyze production incidents.
• Maintain documentation accordingly.

Language Requirements:

• Dutch: Preferred.
• French: Preferred.
• English: Strong knowledge of English.

Telework:

50% on-site and 50% remote.

Agile Requirements:

Required Experience:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Functional and technical knowledge of existing IT systems.
• Experience with the risk and credits domain, analysis methodology, and financial data.
• Practical experience with Scrum is a plus.

• Strong team player.
