Job Description

As a Digital Data Analyst, you will help our organization to make data-driven decisions the norm. You will create a culture that encourages critical thinking and curiosity and ensures that our decisions, from the tactical to the strategic, are always supported by data.

You will relieve all the pains in the user journeys, maximize conversion and engagement rates across our digital channels.

You will help developing Samsonite’s direct to consumer reporting and insights (e-commerce and retail businesses) and will have the possibility to interact with many other departments such as Country, Brand marketing and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

HELP US MAKE DATA-DRIVEN DECISIONS

  • Develop, maintain and optimize reports in partnership with the Business to unlock actionable insights on 4 key domains being competition, advertising, e-Commerce and customer satisfaction
  • Accountable for providing accurate and timely the dashboard/reports and KPI tracking to drive Business Growth
  • Make sure that information is correct, unique, accessible
  • Supporting and accompanying the users in the right understanding and use of all data (info sessions, trainings, …) & assure on time delivery for critical business meetings
  • Work closely together with different business teams in order to support adoption of Reporting tools & dashboards
  • Always on the lookout for improvements and make recommendations in this respect
  • Proactively monitor data to identify pain points and suggest improvements
  • Aggregate and organize data from different sources such as Google Analytics, search, advertising, big query, CRM, Salesforce, Content square, SAP BO etc.

Applicants Should Ideally

Communication

  • Have strong communication and presentation skills. You love to make data transparent for business and enjoy taking on less experienced colleagues
  • Be fluent in English (Dutch or French is an asset)

Education & Technical skills

  • Possess a master’s degree in marketing, digital, statistics or economics
  • Can synthesize large amounts of data, translate findings into clear insights and communicate these convincingly
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Have experience with Analytics and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio

Nice to have

  • Experience with the following digital tools: Google analytics, Similarweb, Content square
  • Knowledge of data modelling and manipulation tools such as Python, R, SQL

Personal skills

  • A quick & eager learner; curious. Able to ask the right questions
  • Are a self-starter with a strong ‘can-do’ attitude, and not afraid of voicing their ideas
  • Cool and calm in a high-demanding environment in transition, can handle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • Can work independently, resourcefully and creatively to research and implement new solutions
  • Be intensely passionate to help us growing our D2C footprint
