Junior Financial Controller

Gentis is a Belgian recruitment company headquartered in Brussels and providing permanent staffing as well as project sourcing solutions worldwide in multiple sectors.

For our client, an company based in Brussels, we are looking for a Junior Financial Controller in the Banking & Insurance sector.

Responsibilities

- Monthly and quarterly closings, including analysis and reporting on costs and income

- Provide detailed cost analysis and strategic advice to senior management

- Prepare financial statements and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting

- Act as first point of contact for external auditors and resolve open issues

- Respond to ad hoc inquiries from various business units

Requirements

- First proven experience in Accounting and Controlling

- Bilingual FR/EN or DU/EN + knowledge of the third language

- You have a good communication, flexible and business driven

- You are stress resistant and with an analytical mind
