Who are we

We are a Belgian international bakery and restaurant chain with about 215 locations in 20 (soon to be more) countries worldwide. We take pride in creating an innovative menu with seasonal organic ingredients from local growers. We believe in simplicity, working with fewer ingredients and fewer manipulations to guarantee quality. Our artisanal sourdough bread is a case in point. It’s made with only 4 ingredients: stone-milled organic flour, sea salt, water and time.


Responsibilities


Financial and operational reporting

  • Analyse monthly financial information
  • Manage multiple types of analysis of relevant business KPIs
  • Prepare presentations of the consolidated financial information to the Board
  • Maintain regular communication with the operational teams to understand underlying business trends
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the financial and operational reporting
  • Leverage and consolidate the accounting team’s deliverables or derive data directly from sales systems where applicable
  • Contribute to the preparation of local and Group budget and forecast


Pricing, costing and other specific analyses

  • Prepare pricing analysis for the new menu launches and for the different seasonal products (industry and competitive analysis, value based pricing updates, …)
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses across the different business streams (Marketing, F&B, Operations, Sourcing, etc.), and present the results to the different audiences


Our team

  • The job is based in our HQ offices in Brussels.
  • You’ll be part of the Belgian Finance Team and report to the CHead of Controlling
  • You’ll work with in collaboration with restaurant Operations, Food & Beverages and other HQ teams to develop the Company while providing our guests the best experience.


Qualifications & competencies

  • Bachelor-Master’s Degree with business finance orientation
  • Ideally at least 1 year of controlling / audit experience
  • Fluent in French or Dutch and English
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Business oriented mind-set and very strong analytical skills
  • Teamwork and excellent communication skills
  • You’re interested in Power BI and BI-tools
