We’re looking for a KYC Analyst to join the Middle Office and work as ONE team from our Brussels office, to review AML documentation and determine an AML risk level according to PwC Belgium policies and procedures.
Your impact
As a KYC Analyst, you are at the core of PwC’s client acceptance process. You’ll make an impact by:
- Reviewing cases flagged as high risk
- Establishing were additional KYC procedures might be required in order to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Escalating potential risks to AML Compliance Officers
- Reviewing correctness and completeness of ownership structure, adverse media screening check, articles of association and Power of Representation
- Defining when the Ultimate Beneficial Owner identification is required and establishing, verifying and documenting the identification of the UBO(s)
- Documenting when an exemption of UBO identification applies
- Checking the UBO Register and identifying & interpreting discrepancies, escalating concerns
- Interpreting adverse media hits
- Finalising KYC files
- You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in AML /KYC matters (must have)
- You have a Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience
- You are administrative and digitally skilled
- You have a good understanding of process oriented environments
- You are a team player able to work independently as well
- You are a quick learner / can easily integrate a new job & team
- You are confident and yet willing to listen to other people's way of approaching & way of understanding
- You are supportive and customer & service oriented
- You have a proactive mindset, knowing how to prioritise your day-to-day activities
- You think out of the box and are solution driven
- You have an inquisitive and quality-driven mindset, and a natural curiosity
- You are fluent in English and Dutch or French
