The European Instruments Distribution Center (EIDC) is part of the global logistics organization and is the leading distribution center for Diagnostics Healthcare instruments and accessories. The EIDC buys instruments and accessories from suppliers from all parts of the world sells in 80+ countries. The EIDC team is based in Dilbeek (Hybrid).

Apply now for the position of logistics planner in the European Instruments Distribution Center based in Belgium and you will plan, and control assigned logistic processes, inventories of instruments and accessories to ensure a 100% availability of all items and to contribute to superior logistic process quality.

Responsabilities:

  • Ensure global availability of instruments and accessories, including forecasting and planning.
  • Place purchase orders with internal and external suppliers, including Make-to-Order processes.
  • Verify customer orders for completeness and coordinate with manufacturing sites.
  • Act as the main contact for the global planner for your product range.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams on demand planning, availability, and logistics processes with suppliers.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide reports on forecasts, inventory levels, and performance.
  • Identify and implement improvements in logistics processes while maintaining a network with key stakeholders.
  • Manage inventory planning, assess risks, and optimize supply and demand strategies.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in demand and supply planning within multinational companies; experience in the Healthcare industry is a strong plus. Applications from recent graduates are also welcome.
  • Highly analytical, process-oriented, and proficient in using reporting and planning tools.
  • Strong business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficient in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Access, Tableau, PowerBI), with the ability to create and optimize custom reports.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer focus with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across regions and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English, a good level in Dutch and/or French is a plus.
