Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and ensuring the highest product quality. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing systems and workflows, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, tooling, and equipment.
• Design and implement production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure products are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Conduct time studies, process flow analysis, and layout planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Evaluate and implement automation opportunities to enhance productivity.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, including lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train and mentor production staff on new processes and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the machinery manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and assembly.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
