SABCA (Belgian Anonymous Company of Aeronautical Constructions) is a major player in the civil aviation and aerospace markets. The company is engaged in the design, manufacturing, and assembly of large elements of complex structures for airplanes and rockets, electrohydraulic or mechanical servocommand systems, specific software, and electronic components for over 100 years!

We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team.
Mission:
As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing supply flows to ensure continuous availability of materials necessary for production or service delivery. You will work closely with production teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure that procurement needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Tasks:
1. Supply Planning: Analyze demand forecasts and current stock levels to establish accurate supply plans.
2. Order Management: Place orders with suppliers considering delivery times, required quantities, and budget constraints.
3. Delivery Monitoring: Track shipments and deliveries to ensure materials arrive on time and meet specifications.
4. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and identify optimization opportunities to reduce costs while ensuring adequate availability.
5. Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contract terms, and regularly evaluate their performance.
6. Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve procurement-related issues such as delivery delays, stockouts, or non-conformities.
7. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, analyze trends, and propose improvements.
Required Skills:
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in inventory management tools and supply chain planning software.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (Logistics, Business).
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.
