Project Consultant

We are building an independent ATM-network offering qualitative cash services to all individuals and merchants in Belgium.

We set the goal to become the largest player on the Belgian market in the next few years. In order to support our expanding business, we are looking for a new colleague to join the team.

The project consultant is a pivotal role that involves analyzing business needs, processes, and data to propose solutions that enhance efficiency and inform strategic decision-making.

The project consultant plays a crucial role in driving positive change within the organization, ensuring that projects align with stakeholders needs and business objectives, improving processes and facilitating informer decision-making across the organization. In that regard, he/she decides autonomously and handles problems to the best of his/her ability. If necessary or required, the project consultant escalates towards the transformation manager or the project manager.

Result areas:

1. Identifying the organization's needs, wants and requirements

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect and document comprehensive business requirements.
• Utilize interviews, workshops, surveys, and data analysis to extract essential information.
• Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights crucial for strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Make a detailed business analysis and highlight problems, opportunities and solutions.
• Evaluate current business processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement.

2. Develop, test and validate business strategies to align with the needs of the organization

• Understand the business strategy and support translation into tangible (solution) scenarios.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors/suppliers to design practical and effective solutions that align with business objectives.
• Anticipate any project risks or bottlenecks.
• Explain new business strategies to the departments concerned.
• Organize, prepare and facilitate decision making between (senior) stakeholders to come to supported strategic decision.
• Translate decision making into tangible findings and recommendations.
• Present findings, recommendations and project updates to stakeholders and management.

3. Design and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of industry evolutions, business strategy and accompanying business requirements

• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging strategies/technology to suggest innovative solutions.
• Ensure that documentation is accessible and understandable to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for (process) improvement following (business) analysis.
• Document business needs, functional specifications as input for (software) implementation projects.

What do we expect?

• Master's degree or equivalent in experience.
• Any certification in projectmanagement and/or process tooling is considered a plus.
• 3 - 5 years of experience, preferably in consulting or in a similar position.
• Spoken and written Dutch and French are required.
• Good knowledge of English is required.
