How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
As a Project Engineer in our Healthcare division, you will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our healthcare infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet regulatory standards (in particular the MDD 93/42 EC and PED 2014/68 EC directives) and our company's quality expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and various subcontractors to guarantee customer satisfaction and ensure that the objectives are met, so that the production plants can operate subsequently. In this role, you will mainly focus on the regions of Brussels and East-Flanders.
Tender preparation
- You are responsible for the entire project follow-up, from the design phase to the commissioning phase.
- You will be in charge of the costs of the projects and you will have a certain budget which you should respect.
- You will organize resources and determine the piping dimensions and piping sources according to current standards
- You will establish the risk category to be applied to the PED module
- You will prospect with the design offices, architects and customers
- You will have full responsibility of the construction site supervision, including safety/ scheduling/ ordering necessary equipments & materials/ verification of the work of subcontractors
- You will apply our quality system manuals & procedures to the drafting of technical files
- You will guarantee the compliance with current regulations and CE marking (Directive 93/42 CE and 2014/68/CE) on the installations.
- You will carry out the necessary verification tests at the end of the project
- You will train customers and operating teams as required
- You will oversee the commissioning of the installation (RFSR) after site validation with the quality department.
- You are responsible to prepare and manage the partial invoice
- You apply standard regulations to the projects, in particular Directive 93/42 EC and 2014/68/ EC
- You apply Group procedures and technical processes in line with the Air Liquide Medical subsidiary's quality system.
- Bachelor’s degree in electromechanics, electricity/ process technology or Master’s degree in Engineering
- A first experience in project management, preferably within the healthcare or industrial sector
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in both national languages: Dutch and French
