We are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our team in Kortrijk, Belgium. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where you will split your time between office work and working directly on the floor to oversee project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee project planning, from initiation to completion.
Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality standards.
Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and schedules.
Provide technical support to production and assembly teams.
Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Requirements:
A degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Proven experience as a Project Engineer in a similar industry.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills in Dutch (both written and spoken).
Ability to balance office work with on-site responsibilities.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Knowledge of industrial automation, logistics systems, or related fields is a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site project management.
