IT Risk & Cybersecurity Project Manager (1 Year Freelance Mission)

Company Overview:

A leading organization in manufacturing is seeking an experienced IT Risk & Cybersecurity Project Manager to oversee critical cybersecurity initiatives and manage risk across their IT systems. The client are based in Ghent, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end management of IT risk and cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate cybersecurity threats.
• Oversee the implementation of security solutions and technologies (e.g., firewalls, encryption).
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and prepare reports for audits.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT risk management or cybersecurity project management.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale cybersecurity projects.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) preferred.
• Fluency in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
