React Developer (NL + ENG)

Position: React Developer

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Hybrid: 2-3 times a week on the client´s office

Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium

Mandatory Languages: One of the national languages (Dutch and French) must be the mother tongue, and the other language must be understood and readable

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented React Frontend Developer to join our development team. You will work on building modern, responsive web applications with React.js, focusing on delivering a seamless user experience. You should be passionate about clean code, reusable components, and efficient development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using React.js;
• Work with React Hooks, Context API, and Redux for state management;
• Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL to fetch and display data;
• Utilize modern JavaScript features (ES6+), TypeScript, and Webpack for efficient builds;
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness;
• Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX best practices;
• Write unit tests and integrate testing libraries like Jest and React Testing Library;
• Follow Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and participate in sprint planning and reviews.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (2+ years);
• Strong knowledge of Redux and React Hooks;
• Experience with TypeScript and ES6+ features;
• Familiarity with CSS3, HTML5, and modern styling techniques (e.g., Styled Components, Sass);
• Experience with Git and version control workflows;
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack and Babel;
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL;
• Experience working in an Agile environment;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
