Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Reporting Analyst to join our Finance team in Brussels. Are you passionate about transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights? Your challenge

• As the Reporting Analyst, you focus on designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports, primarily using Power BI, while also leveraging other tools and platforms as needed
  
  
  

More specifically, you:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into meaningful outputs
• Design visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations that effectively communicate key insights
• Create, enhance, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Identify, scope, validate and implement requested report changes
• Develop and manage underlying data models and queries to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness across all reporting outputs
• Develop and implement best practices for data governance, reporting standards, and version control
• Train and support team members and end-users in effectively utilizing Power BI dashboards and other tools
• Leverage and integrate other reporting tools and platforms (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python, etc.) to complement Power BI capabilities when necessary
  
  
  

Your Interest And Skills

• You have a degree ideally in IT, Science, or Economics
• You have several years' experience in a reporting, data analysis, or a similar role
• As a reporting talent, you have strong knowledge of MS SQL, Power BI, and MS Fabric, with a proven track record in developing Power BI dashboards and reports
• Data warehousing concepts and Data ETL tooling/processes are familiar to you. Being proficient in tools like Excel (pivot tables, Power Query), Tableau, or scripting languages (Python, R) is a plus
• You have the advanced ability to interpret and transform raw data into actionable insights
• You're proactive, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile when needed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills come natural to you, with having a natural ability to juggle multiple projects and set the right priorities
• Last but not least, you're fluent in English, both spoken and written
