Within IT Flat Europe organisation, the Digital & IT Finance and Procurement perimeter is responsible for the IT Strategy of the Finance and Procurement functions, including efficiency (process and system exploitation and optimisation).
In that domain we are looking for an SAP Finance, functional analyst, someone who will help us to realize our digital transformation. You’ll be joining an enthusiastic team mainly located in Ghent.
What does the job entail?
He/she has to:
contribute to the analysis of the current SAP Finance processes from different levels of stakeholders (accountants, tax-directors, financial controllers, internal/external auditors)
understand the financial accounting processes managed in SAP FICO to identify areas for improvement and optimization
guide SAP developers to configure/customize to meet specified needs
strive to ‘keep the core clean’ by proposing solutions in line with standard SAP software
define and execute test plans to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements
provide key-user training and documentation
collaborate with other team members to design and deploy effective IT solutions for Finance
Profile
Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business engineer
Knowledge of SAP FICO is an advantage
Fluent knowledge of English, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
