We are looking, for one of our clients in Groot-Bijgaarden, for an experienced Senior Accountant.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • You ensure the accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenue and expenses.
  • You make sure all financial reporting deadlines are adhered to.
  • You guarantee timely and precise monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
  • You prepare financial management reports.
  • You address and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
  • You ensure the accuracy of inter-company accounts and recharges.
  • You prepare tax returns, including VAT and Real Estate Tax.
  • You oversee vendor file maintenance.
  • You manage invoice setup for payment and handle the preparation and processing of payments.
  • You maintain accurate bank records.
  • You ensure financial records comply with accepted policies and procedures.
  • You take part in the auditing process and manage follow-up actions and improvements as necessary.
  • You establish and oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
  • You act as a gatekeeper for the delegation of authority matrix, working closely with the legal department.
  • You participate in refining and rolling out various control systems.

What would work?

  • You have a relevant experience of 5 year in accounting and bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Ideally you have experience in BEGAAP, IFRS and Fixed Assets.
  • You are a real team player and flexible.
  • You can meet deadlines and are highly analytical.
  • You are at ease in an international context.
  • You speak fluently in English + French or Dutch.
  • You are used to with an ERP. They are working with JDE and are migrating to SAP.
