Salary: €4200 to 5000€ gross per month

Key Responsibilities

As part of their expansion, they are transitioning from a reliance on external accountants to establishing a robust in-house accounting function. This role will be critical in building and managing the company’s accounting and consolidation processes across our three entities in Switzerland, Austria, and Belgium. This position reports directly to the COO and will work closely with internal stakeholders to manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and expense management.

• Build and establish the in-house accounting function to align with the company’s operational needs.
• Select and manage the accounting software that will best serve the company’s needs going forward.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Structure and implement a consolidation process for the company’s three entities in Switzerland, Austria, and Belgium.
• Set up and manage the company’s audit process, building strong relationships with auditors.
• Work with tax advisors and external accountants to ensure compliance with local GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury management.
• Manage invoices, wire transfers, payments, and reconciliation across multiple entities.
• Oversee treasury needs across all entities, including AP, wire transfers, and other payments.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and variance analysis.
• Provide support on transfer pricing matters and ensure the company remains compliant with applicable regulations.
  
  

Who Are You?

• Education: Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial position (structuring a process and consolidation, for example).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Exact Online is advantageous.
• Familiarity IFRS, BEGAAP and AP/AR Expenses.
• Personal Attributes:
