Senior Accountant

Tasks of the Senior Accountant:

• Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately
• Handle VAT declarations and VAT controls
• Responsible for internal reporting and annual audited financial statements
• Manage external audits
• Perform analyses regarding the Balance Sheet, including explanations and documentation
• Ensure that the accounting and tax documentation is updated and maintains traceability
• Review accounting entries and perform entries such as accruals, deferrals and reclassifications as needed
• Manage month end close activities independently
• Undertake adhoc duties

Profile of the Senior Accountant:

• Degree in accountancy is required
• Relevant experience in accounting
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Experience with KPD is desirable
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Ability to work under pressure and define priorities effectively is crucial
• Detail-oriented and organised nature is expected
