A few of your main responsibilities as Senior Internal Auditor:
Identify risks, problem areas and opportunities
Make recommendations and draw up plans of action
Manage audit assignments
Monitor the implementation of action plans
Identify, develop and promote best practices
Steer external resources during audits
Take part in the development of various internal control and risk related projects
Report to the Internal audit team lead based in Aalst.
Required Profile For The Role As Senior Internal Auditor
You hold a master’s degree in Economics and bring 4-8 years of valuable experience in internal or external audit functions.
You are fluent in English, and proficiency in additional languages such as Dutch and French is a significant advantage.
You have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and have experience with SAP. Familiarity with data analytics tools like MS Power BI is a plus.
You have a critical mindset with great analytical skills, enabling you to identify insights and drive improvements.
You are a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills, ready to maintain strong relationships
You are willing to travel during the week in order to carry out plant audits.
