EY is seeking a Senior Manager with a strong track record in Finance Transformation to join our Business Consulting Finance team.
The Business Consulting Finance team works with clients to address critical challenges of the Chief Financial Officer, creating value and delivering world-class future finance capabilities.
You will work in multi-disciplinary teams for some of the biggest and most recognized companies in the world, leading projects to apply the latest technologies and analytical methods to help drive their business performance and digital finance transformation agendas that make a real difference to our working world.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to grow our Finance Transformation team that is operating in a fast-moving, high-growth area with a variety of challenges. With your expertise and entrepreneurial mindset, you will further refine the service offering, create market-focused solutions and lead projects that help organizations strengthen their finance function.
Your Key Responsibilities & Skills
Design and implement innovative finance transformation strategies to improve the Finance Target Operating Model aligned with the client’s business objectives
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies (e.g. GEN AI for Finance) and best practices to provide cutting-edge solutions
Lead workshops and understand the client’s business requirements to translate these to a leading operating model
Build valued relationships with external clients and position EY in the market through thought leadership and point of views
Deliver a Go-To-Market strategy in line with the EY vision and mission
Manage delivery teams including reviewing / challenging outputs produced by team members and providing guidance to team members
Foster a culture that encourages innovation by being a leader, implementing new and improved ways of working, delivery models and / or technological advancements
Position yourself as coach and counselor to the team. You will support EY consultants with the progression of their career and bring your own life experience as guidance for them. You are a true people manager and can bring the EY Transformative Leadership model to life
Your profile
A master’s degree in Business Engineering, Business Economics, Management, Finance or similar
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in management consulting or in finance transformation within the business
You are passionate about Finance Transformation and can rely on strong knowledge and experience in this field or one of the sub-fields: Finance Strategy, Finance Operating Model, Digital Finance, Shared Service Center & Global Business Services, Value & Performance
Experience in improvement & automation of finance processes (Order to Cash, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Financial Planning & Analysis)
Knowledge of software vendors is a plus (e.g. Tagetik, Board, SAC, UiPath, Celonis)
Experienced in account management, business development and the consulting sales cycle
Fluent written and spoken English, French and/or Dutch
