As a Senior Marine Cargo Underwriting Officer, you will play a key role in managing and growing our Marine Cargo portfolio. Collaborating with a team of seasoned professionals, you’ll provide top-tier service to our clients and brokers while ensuring the profitability and efficiency of our operations.

What you’ll do:

• Underwrite with precision: Assess, quote, and write individual marine cargo risks, adhering to underwriting guidelines and authority levels.
• Manage the portfolio: Oversee renewals, monitor policy performance, and ensure premium payment compliance.
• Deliver client excellence: Respond to broker and client inquiries promptly and effectively, building lasting relationships.
• Optimize operations: Administer policies in our data systems and liaise with internal departments like Claims, Finance, and IT.
• Drive profitability: Monitor and enhance the performance of individual policies and the overall portfolio.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Marine Cargo Underwriter.
• Solid numerical skills and data analysis proficiency.

• A commitment to continuous professional development.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English is a must.
