Site Manager

For a major player in the production and distribution of building materials we are urgently looking for a Freelance Site Manager for the site near Kortrijk. The interim manager will take on the role for a period of approximately 6 months.

The Freelance Site Manager key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the full operational responsibility of the site
• Guard over the efficient work force planning, organisation, maintenance and respect of HSE rules on the site
• Set priorities on crucial operational aspects, with budget to ensure business continuity and delivery towards the clients
• Guide the team on site in the current changing environment, adapt the organisational structure if necessary.
• Liaise with stakeholders at group level: Divisional Lead, Finance- HR- IT-Purchasing-Engineering)
• Ensure P&L responsibility, guarding over pricing and general profitability of the site.
• Accompany the team towards the S4Hana merge that is ongoing.

The key qualifications required for this Freelance Site Manager job:

• You have solid experience as Site Manager in the building materials or manufacturing sector.
• You are able to structure an organisation, set priorities and accompany a teams that is under pressure and undergoing change.
• You put in place processes and methods that enhance efficiency and operational excellence.
• You have an open, federating and team driven approach and are used to leading a team under pressure.
• You create clarity and have an objective, neutral way of analysing situations.
• You are stress resistant, calm, well organised, and an excellent communicator.
• You speak Dutch and can interact with employees in French.
• You can work on site fulltime.
