Our client is a market-leading multinational whose products are used by over 600 million people daily—a critical product that helps you function every day. We are collaborating with the VP of Supply Chain to hire their right-hand person. The Supply Chain Project Manager will play a crucial role at a global level, working closely with all business units, departments, and the executive committee. This position is viewed as a stepping stone to becoming a Supply Chain Manager or Director within the organization. Intrigued? Read on.

Our client operates a decentralized supply chain, with different regions, business units, and cultures. As the Supply Chain Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across these various units. Your main focus will be on introducing and implementing end-to-end supply chain planning processes (SIOP, master planning, rough-cut capacity planning, etc.) and optimizing ERP and planning tool setups.

The company operates mainly in a make-to-order (MTO) environment with a complex upstream supply chain, making inventory management and obsolete stock reduction particularly challenging.

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking someone with project management experience in supply chain—a must-have for this role. We are interested in candidates from both consulting and industry backgrounds, especially those with a proven track record in supply chain planning projects. Ideally, you have 5 to 10 years of experience. Familiarity with Lean principles is a plus. A master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain is preferred. The right candidate will be data-savvy, communicative, easily able to connect with others, have an international mindset, and be ambitious and willing to travel.

What do you get?

This is a unique opportunity. Supply chain project manager positions are rare and highly sought after. This role offers significant international exposure and growth potential. For instance, if you want to relocate to Asia in a few years while continuing to work for the company, that’s a possibility.

You will work closely with the VP, who is both interesting and enjoyable to work with—someone from whom you will undoubtedly learn a lot.

The salary package is competitive, ranging from €70,000 to €90,000 per year, plus a car and a 10% bonus. You will also have the flexibility to work from home two days a week.
