System Administrator

Our client is looking for a Systems Administrator to join their team onsite in Brussels, Belgium. This role would be initially a 6 month contract with long term extensions. Please not that this role requires candidates to have a active EU Secret Clearance.

Education and certifications Requirements

Higher education in Computer Science or relevant subject 4 year degree in Computer Science related subject and 10 years experience in IT environment. (In the absence of a degree each candidate will have an additional two years experience per annum of missing higher education)

Certifications in some of the described fields Desirable

Languages, Protocols, Standards and Methodologies

Expertise Requirements

Excellent knowledge of active directory services- Minimum 10 years of experience are mandatory

Strong knowledge of Sharepoint - Minimum 5 years of experience are mandatory

Scripting- 10 years experience using languages such as batch scripts, powershell and python.

Backup and Recovery- Minimum 10 years of experience are mandatory

Fundamental networking knowledge – IP, DHCP, DNS, WINS, routing- Minimum 5 years of experience are mandatory

Alerting and Monitoring- 6 years experience with monitoring tools in different IT environments such as SCOM 2007, 2012, Nagios, Zabbix and WhatsUp.

Server security and hardening- Minimum 5 years of experience are mandatory

PKI- Minimum 2 years of experience are desirable

ITIL (change management, incident management, configuration management, availability management)- 5 years experience and understanding of ITIL foundational.

Security (like ISO 27000)- Minimum 1 year of experience is desirable

Expertise Requirements

Administration of Microsoft Active Directory in large organisations- Minimum 10 years of experience are mandatory

Microsoft Active Directory (AD) & Domain Controller 2016- Minimum 1 year of experience is mandatory

Experience in Active Directory replication and performance - 8 years experience in Active Directory replication.

Active Directory High availability & Disaster Recovery- 5 years experience High availability and Disaster Recovery.

Group Policies implementation and design and troubleshooting.- 5 years experience.

Security and Administration of the Active Directory environment- 5 years experience.

Active Directory Monitoring Tools- 5 years experience.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange- 3 years experience.

Good knowledge of PKI infrastructure with certificate management tools- Minimum 2 years of experience are mandatory

Active Directory scripting technologies- Minimum 2 years of experience are mandatory

Good knowledge of VMWare- Minimum 2 years of experience are mandatory

Installation, Administration & Problem Solving of server operating systems- Minimum 3 years of experience are desirable
