Description

We are hiring a dedicated Tax Manager with a strong Belgian corporate tax compliance background for our in-house tax team who is eager to work on various tax matters in a corporate company with a global footprint on a human

:

  • Assist Schréder in any corporate tax matters at the Belgian and international levels.
  • Review and manage the Belgian tax return process and quarterly tax provisions review at the group level (jointly with controlling).
  • Support Schréder with implementing and monitoring R&D tax incentives and associated compliance.
  • Managing and monitoring the transfer pricing process across the group in cooperation with the Finance department, including preparation of the transfer pricing documentation and reporting in line with the local legislation and OECD guidelines, maintaining Master file and local files.
  • Support on corporate income tax and transfer pricing audits at the Belgian and international level.
  • Provide support with the implementation of business and ad-hoc tax

Qualifications

  • A degree in Taxation + Belgian IAB/IAC qualification holder
  • 5 – 7 years of tax experience (Big 4 or similar large firm experience, in-house experience is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of the Belgian tax regulations and compliance: Belgian R&D incentives, BELSPO process, corporate tax return, and forms 275.XX, 281XX,...
  • Involvement in cross-border projects (e.g. structuring, cash repatriation, M&A,...)
  • Previous Transfer Pricing experience is an asset, but not essential, as support and training will be provided
  • Committed and enthusiastic, with good interpersonal skills and a hands-on attitude
  • Analytical mindset and structured way of working
  • Strong Excel and tax modelling skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Language skills: English (French and other languages are a plus)
